1 . Temperature

PEEK has a high glass transition temperature and melting point (334 °C), which is one of the reasons that it requires heat resistance can reliably use the application .

Its load thermal deformation temperature up to 316 °C, continuous use temperature of 260°C.

2 Mechanical properties

PEEK is both toughness and rigidity and balance of plastics. Particularly its excellent resistance to alternating stress fatigue is the most outstanding of all plastics ,

can be comparable with the alloy material.

3 self-lubricating

PEEK has outstanding sliding properties in all plastic , suitable for demanding low coefficient of friction and abrasion purposes. Especially carbon fiber, graphite

4 chemical resistance ( corrosion )

Properties

PEEK rod models and colors:

1, PEEK-450G (brown gray / khaki) using pure polyetheretherketone resin as raw materials, in all PEEK grade toughness is the best, the best impact. PEEK-450G can be sterilized using the most convenient sterilization methods (steam, dry heat, ethanol and Y-rays), and the raw material composition of the PEEK-450G complies with the EU and US FDA regulations on food availability. Medical, pharmaceutical and food processing industries are very common.

2, PEEK-450FC30 (black) by adding PTFE, graphite and carbon fiber results, the PEEK-450FC30 become bearing-grade plastic. Its excellent frictional properties (low coefficient of friction, wear resistance, high peak pressure limit) makes this level of friction applications become the ideal material.

3, PEEK-450GL30 (brown gray) The material filled with 30% glass fiber reinforced plastic, PEEK-450G than the better rigidity and creep resistance, and better dimensional stability, manufacturing structural parts ideal . And can withstand a fixed load for a long time at a high temperature. If the PEEK-450GL30 is used as a sliding element, the suitability should be checked carefully, as the glass fiber scratches the mating surface.

4, PEEK-450CA30 (black) The material is filled with 30% carbon fiber reinforced, better mechanical properties (higher elastic modulus, mechanical strength and creep) than PEEK-450GL30 and more wear-resistant, and carbon fiber reinforced The plastic heats up from the bearing surface more quickly than the un-reinforced PEEK plastic with 3.5 times thermal conductivity.
